Yangon, Myanmar:
Sabuthaung Church Dedicates
2008 Missionary Book

During the Sabbath School program in July 12, 2008 the Sabuthaung Church Pastor, the Church Elder, the deacons and deaconesses, and Pastor Thang Lian Khai gathered around the alter to ordained the 2008 Missionary Book, The Ten Commandments. Pastor Thang Lian Khai, Publishing Director for MYUM offered a special prayer for the missionary book as the other leaders showed their support by putting their hands on the books. Pr. Khai prayed that God would bless the book and pour the power of the Holy Spirit upon it, so it would touch the hearts of the readers and bring them into the Remnant Church.

Pastor Khai counseled the church pastor and the church elders to lead by example in the distribution this book. They were to encourage and motivate their church members to distribute the missionary book by giving a free book to all their neighbors, friends, and other people as God would lead. Ellen White wrote: “Every believer must circulate tracts, leaflets and books.” The church took this counsel to heart and adapted the slogan; “One Member, One Book; Keep Sharing to Tell the World”.

The special dedication prayer for the missionary book, The Ten Commandments touched the hearts of the church members, and served to revive and renew the leaders. The church members decided to immediately implement these goals and strategies in their village and in other areas.

I believe, that by the grace of God, the church pastor, the church elders, and all the church members will distribute the missionary book and many souls will come to the kingdom of Heaven.

Pr. Thang Lian Khai
Publishing Director
