Pioneers in Czech Republic

The Pioneers of the Global Mission project have been a great blessing to the youth in the Czech Republic. It’s so encouraging to see young people serving the Lord, giving Him the best years of their lives.

This September we started the third year of this volunteer work in Sázava and the surrounded areas. This is a group of 5-7 pioneers stay in the theological seminary every year. On Mondays and Fridays they attend interesting classes which are helpful in their work. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays they go out into the community and knock on doors. They also do other kinds of outreach, for example, health clubs, visitations, singing, movie ministry, Bible studies, ADRA projects, English club, and sports. But their main focus is on canvassing. The youth visit churches throughout the Czech Republic to share their experiences and to encourage other young people to serve the Lord.

Last year an American volunteer joined the program, and another one came this year. They both were a great blessing. And they are the reason that last year’s students had the opportunity to join the summer canvassing program in Georgia, U.S.A where they gained valuable LE experience.

In the past two years we were able to spread almost 3,000 books and 565 spiritual books. Thousands of correspondence courses were given out and there were hundreds of opportunities to pray with people.

Today we have four full-time colporteurs who worked with the groups. Five of the pioneers decided to study at the theological seminary, and one at a public university. One girl now works in Country Life and one young man works in a community center.
God has provided a wonderful training plan for his youth.
